✨ Final Editing Phase of Children of the Stars Update! ✨
The last phase of the editing process for Elven Liberation: Children of the Stars is going well! This stage has been a bit more complex due to rearranging chapters. When I first wrote the second book in the Elven Liberation series, Children of the Stars, the flow seemed fine—but after reviewing it with my editor, Karrie Ann, we realized that the opening chapters worked better in a different order.
Thank goodness for cut and paste! I can’t imagine what it must have been like for writers before modern writing software. By nature, I’m not the most patient person, and having to rewrite entire pages by hand just to reorder chapters would have been a nightmare. I may grumble about the process, but I definitely recognize how spoiled we are in the 21st century when it comes to fantasy novel writing!
I’ll keep you posted as we finalize these last details before publication, which may be in April due to recent unpredicted trials. Thanks again for all your support as this epic fantasy book gets closer to release.
